I don’t often make stops by the beach, but for this photo I was thinking about what cool picture I could come up with at the beach with my iPhone. I head to the beach late afternoon in hope of a sunset picture.
At the beach exploring many possibilities I overheard two gentlemen having an active conversation about Canon VS Nikon DSLRs. I get closer and shout “I shoot Nikon”. If you know a thing or two about DSLRs you’ll know where this conversation headed.
The heated debate goes on for a while until this tall lady walks towards us and claims she’s ready.
This is when Dwight & Reggie introduces me to the young lady, their model, they will be shooting at sunset.
Dwight and Reggie are more Photoshop gurus then photographers hence the reason why they specialize in model. Dwight, the Canon shooter confides in me he sometimes thinks of himself as Mr. Gaussian Blur. They head off to the beach and invite me to look at their shoot.
The shoot goes one for about an hour until I had to leave as it was getting darker and I knew the iPhone would not pull off much if it got too dark.
Walking away Dwight ask me for a business card so we can stay in contact and it struck me.
I walk back to their model tell her about my site and ask her if I could have her pose for a photo which will be the second photo on my site.
She happily accepted and we went off to an iPhone photoshoot. The Canon Shooter sat by watching until we got the picture of the day.
